I hold my office hours in a building on campus where he happens to drop by on occasion. The staff there always recognize him, of course, and go out of their way to call attention to him--"Chris! Awesome game! How high you think you'll go in the NBA draft???" He always smiles and nods, but hurries up to get away from all the hubbub. Very polite, though--holds doors for ladies, offers his seat to others if it gets crowded. I've met a ton of UT's star athletes over the years, but none more genuine and gracious and self-effacing than Chris. Lofton is pure class.
