Howard Dean went to church yesterday. In fact , he spoke to the congregation of Community CME Church in Columbia, S.C.
Has Dean been hiding the fact that he’s a skilled expositor of the word of God? Did he investigate the genealogy of Matthew 1 to show that Jesus is the fulfillement of the Old Testament? I doubt it. The message Dr. Dean preached, alas, was a vision of socialist utopia.
Shame on the Community CME Church for allowing an opportunity for the people to hear God’s word to be usurped in such a way. This reminds me of how the pulpits of churches in the communist USSR were used a bully pulpits for the Party. South Carolina is not the communist USSR—so why would a church voluntarily give up God’s word in lieu of a mess of pottage?
