Deanna Laney, who murdered two of her sons in the front yard and left the youngest maimed in a crib, was acquitted today by a Texas court. The court found that she did not know right from wrong when committing the act, thereby meeting the Texas definition of insanity.
Texas law apparently does not know that it’s wrong to acquit murderers. Does this mean that Texas law is legally insane?
