Vols 38, Aggies 7
The New Year’s Day hangovers must have felt especially harsh when the oddsmakers awoke to find the 5-point favorite Texas A&M scoreless for most of the Cotton Bowl. Tennessee was bigger, faster, and much, much stronger than the Aggies today.
