Blogs You Should Be Reading

Since everyone else does this, I thought I would begin highlighting a few of my favorite blogs (that you need to be reading too) on Fridays. And yes, if everyone else jumped off a bridge, I would too.

The Evangelical Outpost: If you’re an evangelical blogger, I don’t have to tell you to read Joe Carter’s Evangelical Outpost. Carter burst onto the blogosphere last October according to his archives, and has much deservedly become one of evangelical Christianity’s “go-to” websites. Carter is witty, extremely thorough, and he is not afraid to take on the “Big Dogs.” A daily must-read.

Le Sabot Post-Moderne: This blog is run by John Bush, the “inscrutable Discoshaman,” who aims to toss a few clogs into “into the grinding maw of postmodernity.” I just stumbled onto his site last week and throughout this week I’ve read almost all the archives and have come to the conclusion that the Discoshaman put the smart in smart alec. Bush runs this intelligent/hilarious site from Kiev, Ukraine where he is a PCA missionary (an area of the world where I hope to return).

So these blogs should keep you busy for a while. Tell ’em I sent you and receive a 50% discount.
